They predict that the value of the cryptocurrency will enter a phase of a long-term increase. The conclusions are based on previous fluctuations in the value of the first cryptocurrency. 

Binance Announces Largest Burning of Its Exchange Tokens

Between October and December 2019, the Binance Exchange has burned 2.2 million BNB (about $ 38.8 million). At the final stage, the company destroyed 1.11% of the cryptocurrency. The ultimate goal of the trading company is to reduce the value of the coin from 200 million to 100 million. By this time, 12.5 million coins have been burned.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov intends to challenge the characterization of its altcoin as “securities.” The company accuses the regulator of arbitrary interpretation of the law. Durov added there were no filed applications for registration of cryptocurrency, since this was not required by law.

Venezuela approves crypto casino 

The initiative was proposed by President Nicolas Maduro, noting that funds raised will be spent on health-educational programs.

The Venezuela-based casino will allow bets to be placed exclusively in the national cryptocurrency – El Petro. The president’s initiative will be implemented at the Humboldt Hotel, in the city of Caracas, Bitcoin.com reports. 

Ethereum Classic rose by 12% in 3 hours

The reason is already known. Vitalik Buterin made a post about ETC return to the Ethereum network. 

Within 3 hours, the Ethereum Classic rate gained 12% and hit the current mark of $ 8.9. Daily trading volume of altcoin is 20% lower than yesterday and now stands at $ 2.26 billion. 

The reason behind the increase in the value of Ethereum Classic might be the message Vitalik Buterin has posted. According to TrustNodes, Buterin suggests that ETC could be technically integrated back into the Ethereum network once its second version is launched.
